While the new Administration has pledged to repeal the Affordable Care Act, the 2015 MACRA legislation (also known as the “SGR fix”) was passed by Congress with bipartisan support – meaning, it’s most likely here to stay. MACRA’s quality and performance reporting requirements kick in as early as January 2017 – this month! – with physicians seeing a positive, neutral, or negative impact on their bottom line in 2019. The good news? You may already be more ready for MACRA than you think!
