ACMS hosted a general membership meeting at William Jeffrey’s Tavern on Columbia Pike, Arlington. The content-rich program drew a large audience for a mid-week event at a casual, local venue with great service and food. Special thanks to Logan Skidmore, general manager at WJT and his management crew (Kevin and Boone). ACMS president, Dr. J.R. Salameh, acknowledged and introduced our event sponsor, Martha Hess/Professionals Advocate, a long time society sponsor and supporter. Please check out ProAd’s website and contact them with issues related to medical malpractice as they have a plethora of resources to assist physicians.

This has been an increasingly popular and relevant topic as physicians and patients blur the lines of work, personal life and goals/filters in an ever changing, fast-paced landscape of digital media and communication.
Also in attendance: Delegate Rip Sullivan and his assistant, Kate Petersen, as well as Scott McCaffrey of the Sun Gazette.
